PLAN BEFORE YOU DEPLOY

Three decisions. A stronger starting point.

01 / PLANNING GUIDE

Start where your users are.

A nearby city is a useful starting point, not a measurement of your application's responsiveness. Real requests travel through access networks, transit providers and routing decisions that a straight line on a map cannot show. Before choosing a region, identify where your audience connects and which services your application must reach. Compare representative requests from those networks, including busy periods, rather than relying on a single test from your own connection.

  • List your main user regions and external service dependencies.
  • Measure response times and consistency from representative networks.
  • Repeat tests at different times and compare the same workload.
Users Region Networks

Ask sales which testing options are available for the configuration you are considering; this guide does not promise a particular route or latency.

02 / PLANNING GUIDE

Give your transfers a time budget.

Data volume, port capacity and the time available are different parts of the same decision. Begin with how much information must move and when it needs to arrive. A port describes a connection nominal capacity; it does not guarantee that every transfer will sustain that rate. The source, destination, storage system, protocol overhead and competing work can all affect the result. Keep room for retries and bursts instead of planning around an ideal calculation alone.

  • Estimate the volume per transfer and the daily transfer window.
  • Check whether disks and the remote endpoint can sustain the intended rate.
  • Validate a representative transfer before committing to the schedule.
100 GB 80 s · ideal 10 Gbps

Theoretical example, using decimal units: 100 GB × 8 ÷ 10 Gbps = 80 seconds. This excludes overhead and bottlenecks; it is not a commercial performance guarantee.

03 / PLANNING GUIDE

Give recovery its own destination.

A second copy on the same server can be convenient, but it still shares hardware and access risks with the original. Recovery planning starts by deciding what you need to recover, how much recent work you could lose and how quickly operations should resume. Choose an independent destination that matches those requirements, then consider which accounts and permissions could affect both copies. Distance alone is not a recovery strategy: the process also needs an owner, a schedule and a tested way back.

  • Define an independent destination and the data it must retain.
  • Set copy frequency, retention and access responsibilities.
  • Test restoration and record the time and steps required.

SECURITY & AUDITED COMPLIANCE

Enterprise-Grade Certified Infrastructure.

10GCloud facilities, operational processes, and infrastructure are rigorously audited under international standards. We ensure maximum integrity for mission-critical workloads, enterprise tenants, and strict regulatory demands.

LEVEL 1 Security, Compliance & Mission-Critical

Mandatory controls required by enterprise clients, external auditors, and legal frameworks for hosting highly sensitive data.

Gold Standard

SOC 2 Type II

The gold standard for cloud and infrastructure providers. Not a single-day snapshot: it rigorously audits security, availability, and confidentiality controls maintained and verified over an extended period of time.

Structured ISMS

ISO 27001

The foundational standard for information security. Demonstrates a structured Information Security Management System (ISMS). A mandatory entry requirement for mid to large-scale enterprise tenders and contracts.

Payment Ready

PCI DSS

Non-negotiable requirement for environments handling payment processing, e-commerce, and financial gateways. Ensures total compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.

LEVEL 2 Operations, Resilience & Specific Verticals

Proven operational resilience, auditable financial controls, and systematic maturity in IT service management.

Business Continuity

ISO 22301

Business Continuity and disaster resilience. Audits datacenter response capability against power outages, network blackouts, or major emergencies through proven and tested disaster recovery plans.

Financial Controls

SOC 1 Type II

Focused on internal financial reporting controls of the infrastructure provider. Essential for enterprise clients auditing how hosting services impact their financial reporting (fintech and large B2B SaaS).

ITIL Framework

ISO 20000-1

IT service management standard based on the ITIL framework. Demonstrates that technical support, incident resolution, and change control follow predictable, highly mature operational processes.

FAQ

DATACENTER QUESTIONS.

Which cities have published configurations?

The catalog includes Madrid, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Miami. Each product lists its location and stock status.

Which services can I compare by location?

Dedicated servers and Storage are listed in all four locations (Madrid, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Miami); and residential IP in Madrid. The matrix summarizes the catalog, not guaranteed stock.

Does the maximum port apply to every server?

No. Each configuration has its own port capacity. Check the selected offer specifications.

Are all published configurations available?

No. Each product distinguishes availability and lets you prepare a request or inquire about stock. Sales confirms availability and terms before deployment.

Which security, business continuity, and compliance certifications back your datacenters?

Our facilities operate under premier internationally audited frameworks. Tier 1 compliance includes SOC 2 Type II (continuous security, availability, and confidentiality audit), ISO 27001 (ISMS information security management), and PCI DSS (secure payment processing and financial gateways). Tier 2 includes ISO 22301 (business continuity and disaster recovery), SOC 1 Type II (internal controls for financial reporting, fintech, and enterprise SaaS), and ISO 20000-1 (IT service management aligned with ITIL). Audit summaries are available upon request for corporate clients.
